How to keep the friendship going for a long time.

Having friends who genuinely care about you, understand you, and accept who you are is not always easy. Thus, when you do find them, you should cherish them and do everything to keep them. It’s amazing when we hear inspirational stories
of friendship that has withstood the test of times. Many people from all over the world has kept their bonds with their old friends strong even despite their distance.

So, what are the secrets to keeping old friends???

1. Keep In Touch

Maintaining constant communication can be a challenge especially when both you and your friend are busy with each other’s everyday activities. Thanks to technology, distance doesn’t have to be a huge obstacle anymore on communication. Take advantage of e-mails and instant messengers where you can just leave notes or chat with each other online. No matter how busy your lifestyle
is, don’t forget to take some time off and spend it catching up with your old friends.

Even old friends get into misunderstandings or even fights sometimes. But this doesn’t mean that you’ll forget your friends and find new ones. If it’s been awhile since you talked to your friend, why not take the initiative to make a call today? Forget about past conflicts. It would not be good for you to dwell on it. Once you talked to old friends, you’ll realize how much you missed them and how happy you are to talk to them again.

2. Pick up the phone and call

Sometimes even when you live in the same city, you can get lost in your work and not find time for your friends. Still, hearing a friend’s voice can be a real comfort especially on times when you’re feeling low. But even when things are going perfectly fine, call your friends and share them your happiness.
Reunite at least once a year

Friends should definitely go out of their way to be reunited even just once a year. It’ll be both fun and exciting to catch up with your group about the things you’ve been through for the past year. If your friends don’t live too far away, perhaps you can set-up a monthly get-together for a lunch or dinner. Taking that extra effort to be with your friends will make a difference in strengthening your relationship.

If you really want to keep the friendship going, no obstacle would be too big to keep you from getting in touch with your friends.
